Project Planning Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Planning Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning and controls for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and implement project schedules, including detailed plans and timelines, in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project teams and senior management.
  • Risk Management: Analyze project data and identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Control: Manage project budgets and track costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to project teams on project planning and controls processes and procedures.
  • Risk Management Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project risk management plans.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project planning and controls, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with project scheduling software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Multi-Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
