Project Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and lead our Project Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing technical teams and projects, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal technical decisions for projects, including resource assessment, feasibility studies, and equipment selection. They will also manage project planning, cost estimation, and risk management during project development.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Project Delivery team, attracting, retaining, and coaching top talent
• Providing necessary IT tools for technical, project controls, and project management
• Defining and managing the Project Delivery function budget
• Ensuring adherence to best practices through Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Master's Degree in Engineering in fields like Renewable Energy, Power Engineering, or Chemical/Process Engineering
• Project Management certification
• Leadership education

Experience:

• 18 years of experience managing technical teams and projects
• Expertise in renewables, including solar, wind, grid, storage, and electrolysis
• Experience in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects
• Regional experience in the GCC
• Proficient in project controls and management
