Spare Parts Director

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Director - Automotive to join our team at Al Hashar Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the spare parts department, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient supply chain management for automobile spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize spare parts inventory and streamline supply chain processes.
- Budget forecasting, P & L management
- Manage and lead a team of spare parts professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement of spare parts.
- Monitor and analyze spare parts sales data, market trends, and customer demands to forecast inventory needs and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, service, and logistics to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of spare parts to meet customer needs.
- Implement and maintain best practices for spare parts management, including inventory control, stock rotation, and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures for all spare parts and inventory management processes.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales strategies for spare parts, including promotions, pricing, and product positioning to drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in leading the Automotive Spare Parts Department of a Multi-brand Dealership of all types of spare parts including Commercial Vehicles/Construction equipment.
- Demonstrates excellent organization and leadership skills.
- Experience in efficiently managing the overall functions of the spare parts department operations, inventory level, spare parts ordering, etc.
- Should have experience of dealer/manufacturers' representatives interaction on ordering, pricing, marketing support and business development, and all relevant aspects.
- Experience in leading the spare parts staff of all levels to ensure targets are achieved while ensuring customer satisfaction levels.
- Experience working in Oman or the Gulf is a must (Based in Muscat will be an advantage).
- Must hold a degree in Engineering/Marketing/Management. An MBA is preferred.
- Would prefer candidates below 45 years of age.
