Product Development Lead

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a seasoned category manager to lead our grocery category management efforts, driving sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute category management plans, ensuring alignment with company commercial strategy and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of category plans, including marketing, logistics, and operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Category management, including assortment development, pricing strategy, and promotion planning.
- Economic performance monitoring and analysis, ensuring alignment with company commercial strategy.
- Implementation of commercial strategy and strategic guidelines, including categories plan and pricing strategy.
- Input to ops team on flows, adjacencies, tools, templates, fixtures, etc.
- Issue resolution with local suppliers.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- At least 5+ years of experience in category management or a related field, preferably in an international setting.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams and managing cross-functional projects at scale.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to interact with senior-level executives and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, with ability to inspire teams and stakeholders to rally behind a mission.
- Fluent English language skills, Arabic language skills highly advantageous.
