A Medical Equipment Service Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the functionality and safety of medical devices. As part of our team, you will provide expert technical support and customer service to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities
  • Fulfill all applicable policies and procedures.
Equipment Maintenance
  • Timely execution of preventive maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all equipment receives regular maintenance.
  • Product installation and training.
  • Organizing pre-installation requirements for instrument delivery.
  • Verifying correct equipment installation to prevent customer issues.
Repair and Maintenance Services
  • Efficient corrective actions for breakdown calls.
  • Arranging timely delivery of spare parts.
Professional Growth
  • Participating in scheduled or required training sessions.
Administrative Support
  • Timely submission of weekly reports.
  • Assisting the service coordinator in creating Health Authority/Quality Control documents for new installations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date databases of instruments.
  • Collaborating with Sales team on technical information and site visits.
  • Sharing relevant sales information with the Sales team.
Reporting Obligations
  • Weekly reporting to Line Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: 2+ years experience in the biomedical field.
  • Key Skills: Strong communication skills & Good English - Time management skills - Problem-solving skills - Excellent computer skills in Ms. Office – Ability to work under pressure - Customer-centric personality.
  • Additional Details: Candidate will be based in Oman. Requires a valid driving license.
