Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Examiner to join our team. As a Senior IT Examiner, you will play a critical role in carrying out regular and special IT examinations of financial institutions.

  • This includes working as an assistant in an IT Examination team or as an IT Examiner-in-charge leading the examination of financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in IT audit and hold a Bachelor's degree in IT, information/cyber security, or Computer Science. A Master's degree or professional certification in IT/cyber security will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out assigned tasks related to IT examinations in accordance with guidelines.
  • Prepare reports on findings and observations from examinations and submit them to the IT Examiner-in-charge.
  • Participate in exit meetings with senior management of examinee financial institutions.
  • Incorporate changes to work done and assist in updating reports as recommended by the Head of IT Section.
  • Undertake IT examinations of financial institutions and complete field work within the given time frame.
  • Provide overall supervision and guidance to other examiners assigned to the IT Examination Team.
  • Keep the Head of IT Examination section informed of examination progress and any adverse features noticed.
  • Complete draft violations and exceptions within the given time frame and send them to examinee financial institutions for responses.
  • Arrange and attend exit meetings with senior management of financial institutions.
  • Write reports and amend them based on discussions held during exit meetings.
  • Carry out changes recommended by the Head of IT Examination Section or the Manager of the Department.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Head of IT Examination Section or the Manager of the Department.
  • Maintain integrity and ensure compliance with procedures in all relevant areas.
