We are looking for a passionate Science Professor to teach Chemistry to students in Grades 9 through 12 at Teach Away Inc.

About the Role:

This position involves designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners, promoting scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Chemistry to students from Grades 9 to 12, covering topics aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, including IGCSE, AS/A Levels, and the local General Education Diploma (GED) curriculum.
  • Develop and implement hands-on experiments and interactive teaching methods to enhance students' understanding of chemical concepts.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a passion for scientific exploration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Science and Chemistry program.
Requirements:
  • Teaching Credential/License
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Chemistry full-time in schools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
