We are seeking an experienced Pricing and Performance Manager to drive our pricing strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
This is a critical role that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and drive business growth.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute pricing strategies for telecom products and services.
- Identify pricing trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior.
- Recommend pricing models (e.g., tiered, bundling, subscription-based) to maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and financial metrics for pricing insights.
- Maintain pricing dashboards and reports for senior management.
- Conduct price sensitivity and elasticity analysis to measure impact.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align pricing with business goals.
- Provide pricing recommendations for product launches and promotions.
- Support revenue forecasting with finance teams.
- Monitor competitor pricing and conduct regular benchmarking studies.
- Identify opportunities for differentiation through pricing and value-added services.
- Ensure pricing strategies comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Develop and maintain pricing guidelines and best practices.
- Address and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Enhance pricing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior team members on pricing methodologies and tools.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing management, preferably within the mobile telecommunications or technology sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful pricing strategies.
- Experience with pricing software and analytics tools.
In addition, they should possess:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of financial principles and revenue management.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
