Industrial Assembly Technician

About the Job:

We are looking for an Industrial Assembly Technician to join our team at Abroad Work. The successful candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and assembly, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read Blueprints: Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
2. Operate Machinery: Operate welding equipment and tools such as gas torches, arc welders, and plasma cutters.
3. Assemble Metal Parts: Assemble metal parts using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
4. Inspect Finished Work: Inspect finished work for accuracy and structural integrity.
5. Prevent Accidents: Follow safety precautions at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
6. Collaborate with Team: Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

• Welding Experience: Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.
• Certification Preferred: Valid certification in welding techniques preferred.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of welding equipment and tools.
• Hand-Eye Coordination: Excellent physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
