Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for planning and executing brand communication and activation marketing plans. Your role will involve exploring and proposing new marketing tools in line with brand guidelines, image, and strategies to maximize brand awareness and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare public relations budget with Director of Sales and Marketing and manage in pursuance of public relations campaign.
  • Create executive innovative public relations and publicity programs that will increase revenue and awareness, creating a positive perception of the hotel, its spa, restaurants, services, and hosts.
  • Ensure that all hotel promotions are in keeping with brand image and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation.
  • Be responsible for directing and assisting the General Manager with all crisis communications as it pertains to the media and external/internal guests during any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the media. Provide timely and accurate responses when queried.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Journalism or communications.
  • More than five years of experience in progressive marketing and communications roles in ultra-luxury resort brands.
  • Experienced in writing and editing proposals and publications.
  • Strong (written and verbal) communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • High proficiency in branding and PR strategies.
  • Familiar with different forms of marketing channels, social networking and digital marketing platforms.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
