The Project:

As part of our international consultancy business spanning five global hubs, you will oversee work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors.

Our Middle East and North Africa hub has successfully operated since 1998, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services in a wide range of countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop delegated elements of annual business plan outcomes to deadlines and budget.
  • Lead and manage design resources for projects.
  • Manage daily operations for project design resources/ managers.
  • Present management review data/key performance indicators (KPIs) to project and sub-function leadership.
  • Support business development and work-winning activities.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver relevant training.
  • Evaluate and follow project management systems, ensuring whole-project roles and responsibilities are adhered to.
  • Act as focal point for design-related matters on projects.
  • Initiate changes to project delivery plans, develop new design management tools, and operating processes.
  • Influence procurement routes, contractual, and legal aspects of projects.
  • Promote technical excellence, support dialogue/communication.
  • Collaborate with project management office (PMO) teams to ensure coordinated deliverables.
  • Seek out knowledge and experience through company reach-back.
  • Utilize centre of excellence (CoE) knowledge base effectively.
  • Contribute to proactive identification and management of carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with design management systems, risk management, and mitigation.
  • Excellent knowledge of prefabrication/build strategies.
  • Multiple sectors experience delivering different building types.
  • Negotiation skills to support client/customer focus.
  • Knowledge of construction and consultancy industries, including legislation, standards, contracts, and health & safety.
  • Effective communication, organisational, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Maintain impartiality and take pragmatic approaches when evaluating evidence.
  • Able to take initiative and make decisions.
  • BIM literacy, BIM management, and BIM deliverables.
  • Good technical knowledge to challenge projects/design/proposals.
  • Able to lead others and delegate effectively.
  • Continuous improvement and resilience through training and business improvement activities.
  • Understand personal strengths and weaknesses, seeking learning and support where appropriate.
