Facilities Defender

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Prysmian. As a key member of our Security & Safety team, you will play a vital role in protecting our people, assets, and reputation.

• Provide access to authorized personnel and ensure all visitors are properly cleared before entering the facility.
• Prepare gate passes for external clients and vehicles, and verify their validity to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Inspect materials being transported out of the store to prevent loss or theft.
• Ensure the security and safety of drivers, employees, and contractors by verifying their identification and ensuring they wear necessary safety equipment.
• Secure the premises according to the established roster and report any incidents or suspicious activity to the ROP and security head.
• Conduct regular patrols of all Prysmian properties to detect and prevent potential security threats.
• Monitor the punching system for staff and visitors to ensure accurate records and prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor CCTV 24/7 to detect and respond to potential security threats.

• A high school or equivalent certificate is required. Civil defense or other safety training is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant at all times.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Strong logic and reasoning skills to identify potential security risks and alternative solutions.
• At least 1 year of experience in the security field is required.
