Job Title: Technical Operations Manager

Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage IT infrastructure, systems, and team to support business objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects ensuring alignment with business goals, adherence to timelines, and efficient resource utilization while mitigating risks.
  • Maintain and oversee the center's digital infrastructure, including servers, networks devices, firewalls, to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard data and systems from potential threats or breaches.
  • Ensure regular data backups and establish robust recovery protocols to prevent data loss in the event of system failures or other emergencies.
  • Test backup systems periodically to confirm data integrity and recoverability.
  • Plan and execute hardware and software upgrades with minimal disruption to business.
  • Provide prompt support to business users to ensure swift resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Promote innovative solutions and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and test contingency plans to ensure business continuity during emergencies, such as system outages.
  • Lead and mentor the team. Recruit, train, and foster a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a well-reputed university/college.
  • Minimum of 15 years in the relevant field and at least 7 years as an IT manager for a reputed organization, preferably in the banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Credit Bureau/Credit Registry products, services, and Credit Reporting Standards including Corporate Group exposure analysis.
