Merchandizing and Sourcing Expert

The Merchandizing and Sourcing Expert plays a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of high-quality products on store shelves, in catalogs, and online. This individual is responsible for developing effective strategies to source goods and maintain desired stock levels.

  • The ideal candidate will prepare and review purchase details of orders and deliveries, aiming to reduce shortages and overstocking through data analysis and control strategies.
  • They will engage with suppliers to secure the best quality products at competitive prices aligned with organizational objectives.
  • The Merchandizing and Sourcing Expert will identify profitable suppliers, initiate partnerships, and develop reports on key functional metrics to minimize expenses and enhance effectiveness.
  • This role requires strong business communication and presentation skills, as well as an aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with 2-4 years in retail or FMCG industry.
