Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Communication professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical, Electronics/Communications Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecommunication and networking field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting senior engineers with daily network operations and projects. This includes taking care of all communication systems infrastructure in the field, administering and supporting network backbone and edge switches, and handling administrative tasks such as Purchase orders and Inventory control.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for diagnosing problems for hardware and software issues utilizing appropriate tools and diagnostic techniques, ensuring proper logging and tracking of user problems using established IT ticketing systems, and testing and installing new equipment when required.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics/Communications Engineering or a minimum of 4 years of experience in the telecommunication and networking field.

Courses: CCNA, Redline, or similar technical courses.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Oil and Gas Companies.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking Technologies, Routing and switching protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, Access Points, and IP Phones.
  • Willingness to work overtime/overnight as required.
