Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Technician to join our team at the Port of Salalah. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources they need to perform their jobs efficiently.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software. You will also be highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Install and configure software and hardware as needed
  • Analyze user problems and develop effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of helpdesk interactions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a related role
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
