Maximizing passenger growth and revenue is a key objective of this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing seat capacity, attracting new airlines, and expanding destinations served by Oman Airports.

About the Role:
  • This position involves developing strategies to drive passenger growth, expand route networks, and foster partnerships with airlines and international stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background in aviation and/or travel and tourism, with experience in airport marketing or airline network planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seat Capacity Development: Build and maintain relationships with travel trade and airlines to increase capacity from Omani airports.
  • Airline Partnerships: Establish partnerships with airlines and international stakeholders to support new routes and existing services.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and assess risks to existing airline operations and mitigate threats from the markets.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new route development opportunities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in airport marketing or airline network planning, preferably in the Middle East region.
  • Commercial Background: Strong commercial background in aviation and/or the travel and tourism industry.
  • Professional Skills: Proficient in creating and delivering professional presentations and business reports.
