Job Summary:

  • This is a leadership role in interior design for a high-profile resort renovation project.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the interior design process, from concept to execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading all design stages, including concept, schematic, detailed design, and FF&E coordination.
  • Collaborating with clients, operators, and consultants to define and implement design strategies.
  • Ensuring design deliverables meet quality, cost, and time objectives.
  • Supervising the in-house team and external design consultants.
  • Guiding technical reviews, design workshops, and value engineering sessions.
  • Monitoring site execution to ensure design integrity is maintained.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between the design team and the construction team.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in hospitality design or luxury interiors (preferred).
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in high-end hospitality interior design.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial or project leadership role within Oman/GCC.
  • Experience with luxury hotel or resort renovations is essential.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • An understanding of GCC hospitality design trends and cultural aesthetics.
