Senior Financial Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting audits in accordance with the audit plan, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and professional certification in accountancy/CIA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in a similar role is required.
About the Role

The Senior Financial Auditor will participate in financial statement reviews, executing assigned areas in line with unit standards. They will also write reports as required and assist the audit team on special assignments and investigations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits in accordance with the audit plan, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and control audit assistants to guarantee timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Execute audit programs, collecting relevant evidence and preparing comprehensive work papers.
  • Ensure all reports, conclusions, and audit files meet unit standards.
  • Provide valuable written input to senior auditors for inclusion in final audit reports.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of Internal Audit Plans and work closely with business owners to implement recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS developments and other relevant areas within the Internal Audit profession.
  • Prepare various reports according to the audit plan, as requested by the Audit Committee and management, and perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional certification in accountancy/CIA is preferred.
  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of International Auditing Standards.
  • Strong understanding of Accounting/Audit principles.
