About the Job

We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to spearhead the development of high-performing Go and Python services and secure identity and access management solutions that cater to diverse company products.

This opportunity is ideal for a software engineering manager passionate about distributed systems operations, aiming to transform the future of identity management.

You will collaborate closely with upstream open source projects and internal teams to deliver top-notch software deployable on bare metal, public cloud, and Kubernetes platforms.

Your key responsibilities include defining the product's technical vision, managing the team backlog, reviewing code, and mentoring junior team members.

Throughout all phases of software development – designing software, coding, testing, conducting code reviews, documenting, and troubleshooting issues – you will be integral to our success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven experience in hiring and leading high-performance software engineering teams
  • Proficiency in Go and Python software development
  • Ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems
  • Experience with container technology and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of software/infrastructure security and performance
  • Experience in designing and/or operating large-scale distributed systems
Requirements
  • Leadership skills with experience in team management
  • Expertise in Go and Python programming languages
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
