We are looking for a skilled Petrophysicist to join our team in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work on a major operated asset, providing high quality petrophysical interpretation results for commercial, technical and operating decisions.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Creation and/or evaluation of logging programs acquisition, supervising such activities, and performing log interpretation.
  2. Setting up core analysis program for wells to be cored, defining FWL using pressure data, and building SHF model using MICP.
  3. Integration of PP data in subsurface reservoir characterizations for both development and exploration.
  4. Performance of Value Of Information analysis and cost analysis on subjects related to petro-physical data acquisition or analysis.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences, Master's degree would be an advantage.
  • 10+ years of Petrophysical Engineering experience within the oil industry, service company or producer within the Middle East region.
