Senior Executive Chef

The Senior Executive Chef will lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation. You will develop and maintain menus with a focus on authentic Arabic dishes, while also incorporating international cuisine as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising, training, and mentoring kitchen staff, especially Arabic-speaking team members. You will communicate clearly with staff and guests in Arabic when necessary to ensure smooth service.

You will ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations in all kitchen areas. Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste.

Work closely with the Food & Beverage management team on menu planning, budgeting, and food promotions.

Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and order in the kitchen at all times.

Participate in the hiring and performance evaluation of kitchen personnel.

Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through consistent culinary excellence and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or luxury restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
