Job Title: Middleware Integration Specialist

    Overview:

The position requires a skilled expert to design, develop, and maintain integration services and APIs using industry standards.

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Integration Design and Development: Utilize IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM Message Queue, IBM DataPower, and IBM API Connect products to create seamless integration between applications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for IT projects involving integration between applications through the IBM middleware products.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Perform monitoring activities for supported systems, including operation of utilities to support customer system and data implementations.
  • Issue Resolution: Conduct issue resolution and support in RCA analysis for Production incidents.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with resources outside of IT when necessary to resolve issues.
  • Process Adherence: Adhere to all standards and processes defined in the team for project delivery, peer review, security, incident, and problem management.

    Key Accountabilities:

  • Middleware Systems: Responsible for design, development, and supporting Webservices/APIs used for integration of application systems.
  • Liaison Role: Liaison between infrastructure and applications groups, aiding one to understand the other and ensuring completion of development and/or maintenance activities of Bank's Middleware systems.

    Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Certifications: IBM Professional Certification on IBM App Connect Enterprise (or Integration Bus). Desirable: IBM Professional Certification in IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect, and IBM MQ.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in design, development, and support of IT software solutions. Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in design and development of integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM Message Queue, IBM DataPower, and IBM API Connect products. Minimum 6 years of experience in API (RESTful) and Web Services (SOAP) design, development, and testing.
