We are seeking a motivated Procurement Engineer to oversee Indirect Materials & Services across the UAE and Oman. The role will encompass responsibility for the following tasks:
- Sourcing and Vendor Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for indirect materials/service, spare parts, and other plant & Quarry needs.
- Conduct market research to identify competitive pricing and sourcing options.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and delivery terms.
- Carrying out the contract management process in coordination with other departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed metrics (quality, delivery, cost) and address any issues.
- Creating action plans for suppliers by making periodic supplier evaluations.
