Operations Readiness & Assurance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Operations Readiness and Assurance Specialist to join our team. As an Operations Readiness and Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role

The key accountability of this role includes engaging in project EPC phases and DBOOM projects, providing ORA inputs, coordinating and engaging in CSU activities through Company CSU representative at site, providing technical expertise and deliver requirements for Operations Readiness & Assurance at the various project locations in accordance with industry best practice, representing CLIENT OR/CSU team and supporting Operations staff at design reviews and workshops such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Alarm Management, identifying training requirements and liaising with L&D department to ensure these are completed pre-start up, providing discipline technical support to other asset services activities, e.g. asset integrity reviews and improvement activities, shutdowns, maintenance and reliability, supporting and advising punch listing of systems and closeout of punch list items on behalf of operations, execution of the Operations Readiness & Assurance Execution Plan, providing input to Operating Manuals, Operating Procedures and Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Procedures including Systems Testing Procedures, assisting and contributing to the Flawless start-up initiative, supporting the Project to Asset Handover strategy to align with Operations handover requirements, providing quality assurance and coaching on systems acceptance and punch listing activities undertaken by the CLIENT Operations team, promoting a Right First Time (RFT) approach within the Project Teams and Operations to ensure a cost effective and quick ramp up to targets, working closely with project and operations to help develop SU team skills and competency requirements, participating in Peer reviews on startup and operating procedures, working closely with Project and Operations personnel to meet the OR&A milestones, liaising with the CLIENT projects, contractor and CSU teams, ensuring risks to the schedule are identified and raised early, assisting to produce punch lists, acceptance documentation, site and technical queries, assisting to ensure close out of outstanding work and punch items, prior to systems being accepted for operations, assisting with the training and Competence development of workers to ensure that O&M personnel are trained and developed to meet existing and future work demands, assisting in the review of relevant Operational Excellence elements, providing input to the Asset Safety Strategies and promoting safe practice for personnel and safe operation of production assets, supporting and advising data to be registered in Asset registry (SAP) on behalf of operation and align with Engineering disciplines till population, ensuring all commissioning and start-up related activities are carried out in accordance with OQEP HSSE and COEs policies and procedures, and industry best practice.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in operations readiness and assurance, and a strong understanding of industry best practices. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a flexible approach to work.

Additionally, you will need to have a strong background in operations management, project coordination, and risk management. You will also need to have a good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
