We are seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Middle Eastern cuisine, creative vision for menu development, and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Design menus that reflect traditional Middle Eastern dishes while incorporating modern twists.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, recipe execution, and food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure all ingredients are stocked for daily operations.
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards and are presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine.
- Proficient in preparing traditional Egyptian dishes such as koshari, foul medames, and molokhia.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
- Creativity when developing menus and understanding of current food trends.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
