This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and forecasts to support informed decision-making.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability and minimize financial risks.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization maintains a strong financial position.
Requirements:
  • A Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory, with a strong emphasis on academic credentials.
  • A minimum of 10 years in senior financial roles, preferably in Oman or the GCC region, with a proven track record of success.
  • Specialized Knowledge: A strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and business practices in Oman, with the ability to analyze complex financial information.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, ERP systems, advanced Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
