Equipment Maintenance Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of heavy equipment machinery.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Identify, adjust, repair or overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.
  • Periodic Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment machinery such as Truck Mounted Pumps, Trailer Pumps, Batching Plants, Placing Booms, etc. to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to customers and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Service Implementation: Promptly respond to service calls and handle on-site faults to minimize downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Manage central warehouse orders, process regular distribution orders, and oversee regional spare parts sales and payment.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to the service system to ensure smooth operations.
  • Data Collection: Collect and inspect service data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Vehicle Management: Manage inventory vehicles, inspect new machines, and ensure accurate shipping and quality assurance of spare parts.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate or relevant college diploma holder (preferably in Automotive).
  • Experience: 1-3 years in same industry, preferably with experience in Engineering Machinery/Heavy Equipment Machinery.
  • Skills: Cold Calling, Lead Generation, Customer Relations, Marketing Strategies, Key Account Management.
  • Language: English language required, Arabic language an added advantage.
  • Licenses: Oman Driving License required.
