Checkout Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Checkout Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. You will also monitor inventory levels, assist with customer inquiries, and adhere to all cash handling procedures.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner
- Scan items and process payments accurately
- Issue receipts to customers
- Maintain an organized checkout area
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Answer customer inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
To excel in this role, you should possess strong math skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. A background in customer service or retail is an asset, but not required.
