Job Title: Senior Culinary Operations Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Culinary Operations Manager to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for managing daily kitchen operations, supervising staff, maintaining food quality, and ensuring consistency in our menu offerings.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with planning and directing food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen, taking control of problematic situations and implementing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Manage, train, and supervise kitchen staff, establishing work schedules and assessing staff performance.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, providing direction and tasks clearly and concisely.
- Order supplies and manage inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to maintain our high standards.
- Maintain compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards, ensuring that our kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Foster a positive and professional approach with coworkers, promoting a collaborative and inclusive kitchen environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who has experience in leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, as well as effective verbal communication and ability to relay instructions.
- Previous experience as a Senior Chef De Partie or equivalent role.
- 3–6 years of experience in hospitality, catering, or high-volume food production environments.
- Ability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night) depending on the company's needs.
The successful candidate will have experience leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff, with a strong focus on organizational and time management skills. They will also possess knowledge of current culinary trends and kitchen best practices.
