Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Senior Infrastructure Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and designing infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings.

You will work closely with architects, clients, and other professionals to develop project designs, conduct site assessments, and analyze survey reports and data.

As a key member of our team, you will oversee construction activities, ensure adherence to plans and specifications, and monitor project progress and conduct site inspections.

Your technical expertise will include using design software to create project drawings and renderings, overseeing soil testing and other geotechnical assessments, and providing technical support to contractors and construction teams.

You will also collaborate with colleagues to prepare public reports, such as bid proposals and environmental impact statements, and provide engineering information and answer questions from stakeholders.

This is a full-time position in the Construction industry, reporting to the Department/Functional Area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and relevant software, including AutoCAD.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
