Lead Dairy Manufacturing Operations

A seasoned Production Manager is required to oversee the end-to-end production operations within a modern dairy plant. This role demands strategic planning, daily execution, and continuous improvement to meet quality, cost, and output targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing day-to-day production activities to meet volume, quality, and safety KPIs
  • Ensuring adherence to GMP, HACCP, ISO, and food safety standards across all shifts
  • Managing shift operations, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, process efficiency, and manpower productivity
  • Training and mentoring teams to enhance capability, safety awareness, and engagement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain for seamless operations
  • Monitoring and reporting on production performance, identifying areas for corrective action or enhancement
  • Supporting new product introductions and commissioning of new production lines or equipment

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in dairy manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Production Manager role
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale production lines, preferably in both fresh and long-life dairy categories
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality systems, and operational excellence frameworks
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, driving change, and implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Oman and work in a multicultural, performance-oriented environment. Must be currently based in the GCC.
