Dba Consultant

We have an urgent requirement for an Oracle DBA with our client based at Oman location. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of database systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application database issues.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform health checks on Databases and database servers. Additionally, you will need experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 13c, Backup and recovery concepts, including RM, Oracle DB install, configure, implement 12c/19c, Oracle RAC 12c/19c, Database upgrade to 19c, and Database Patching (RUP, CPU), Cloning.

You should possess expert level database design, development and administration skills, as well as knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery options and tools. Moreover, managing automatic storage management and implementing database backup and recovery strategies are crucial aspects of this role. You must also be proficient in analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex database performance issues.

In addition to these technical skills, you should be able to administer, manage and tune high-transaction and decision support Standalone/RAC production server environment(s). Understanding and meeting the needs of end-users is also essential.
