Senior Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for executing electrical engineering activities and processes associated with projects. You will apply and expand hands-on experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, commissioning, and operation in the oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities
  1. Apply electrical engineering practices, standards, and design codes to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
  2. Assist senior electrical engineers in reviewing and evaluating engineering deliverables.
  3. Compile information from contractor reports, evaluate and analyze using electrical engineering standards and codes.
  4. Attend regular engineering reviews and meetings to ensure project progress and safety.
  5. Participate actively in engineering reviews and provide input on electrical engineering challenges.
  6. Coordinate, prepare, and record engineering reviews as assigned by the Lead Electrical Engineer.
  7. Follow up on the turnover of electrical engineering documents to ensure timely completion.
  8. Participate in equipment selection and procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  9. Attend workshops and site inspections of electrical facilities to monitor HSE and progress.
  10. Participate in solving electrical engineering challenges during development of the Front End Package or detailed engineering.
  11. Inspect project sites to monitor HSE, progress, and ensure conformance to design specifications and standards.
  12. Identify gaps in practices and tools, and develop new practices or tools to enhance technological offerings.
  13. Report any safety breaches to supervision/management immediately.
  14. Participate in discussions with stakeholders to assess and define user requirements.
  15. Promote and participate in company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures.
  16. Coordinate, execute, and oversee electrical engineering design projects to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
  3. Experience working in an operating company is preferred.
  4. Proven core electrical engineering skills, including design experience (FEED and detailed engineering).
