Geoscientific Petrophysicist

We are seeking an experienced Petrophysicist to join our team at Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP). As a key member of our exploration department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality petrophysical interpretation results and technical program advice.

• Create and/or evaluate logging programs acquisition for commercial, technical, and operating decisions.
• Interpret conventional and non-conventional logs, including FMI, Segma, VSP, NMR, etc., and cased hole logging.
• Develop core analysis programs for wells to be cored.
• Define Formation Water Levels using pressure data and build Shrinkage Hydrate Factor models using Micropaleontology.
• Integrate PP data into subsurface reservoir characterizations for both development and exploration projects.
• Calculate reservoir volumetric parameters, such as saturation, porosity, m, and n factors.
• Perform Value Of Information analysis and cost analysis on petro-physical data acquisition or analysis.
• Represent OOCEP at Technical Committee Meetings for PP elements.
