Job Description:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the daily operation of the engineering department, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves assuming the responsibilities of the Assistant Chief Engineer during their absence.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand and communicate all relevant policies and procedures to colleagues.
  • Comply with health and safety standards and ensure all business activities comply with laws and regulations.
  • Support all aspects of human resources strategic policy.
  • Fully support learning and development activities, including on-the-job training and group training techniques.
  • Prioritize and document colleagues' career paths and development needs.
  • Hold regular meetings with colleagues to provide a forum for voicing concerns and sharing departmental information.
  • Safeguard stored information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures relating to sustainability and social media use.
  • Maintain zero tolerance on all forms of harassment or discrimination.
Key Duties:
  • Maintain proper and safe conditions of all plant, equipment, and work areas.
  • Perform emergency response team duties as required.
  • Undertake specific duties and projects when assigned.
  • Support training programs and maintain equipment records.
  • Work shifts as designated and maintain personal presentation in a clean and tidy manner.
