Job Overview: Quality Control Specialist

This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and integrity.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough inspections and tests to assess product properties.
  2. Preserve samples from each batch with accurate classification details.
  3. Validate materials against established standards and adhere to IMS procedures.
  4. Operate machinery and equipment for sample preparation and transportation with utmost care.
  5. Analyze test results to optimize process efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
  6. Liaise with QA Engineers as needed.
  7. Undertake special testing for unusual samples.
  8. Carry out tasks delegated by QA Engineers.
Working Conditions:
  1. Shift-based work with potential for overtime.
  2. Diligently record operational data for informed decision-making.
  3. Promote a safe and organized workplace environment aligned with OAPIL IMS and HSE guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
  5. Oversee laboratory operations within the Quality Control division.
  6. Evaluate raw materials against set specifications.
  7. Prepare Non-Conformance Reports for vendor action.
  8. Coordinate external inspections of finished products with Sales teams.
  9. Maintain equipment functionality, schedule servicing, and calibrate according to industry standards.
  10. Arrange training sessions and regular toolbox meetings for QC supervisors and inspectors.
  11. Resolve minor equipment malfunctions and inconsistencies with QC engineers and technicians.
  12. Enforce adherence to testing protocols.
  13. Receive task assignments from management to refine skills and adapt to new roles within the company.
