Job Description

The Project Engineer plays a vital role in driving the development, design, and construction management of projects within the Convention District.

This involves close collaboration with operators, consultants, and the Sales & Marketing team to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and align with the organization's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Contribution: Support the Project Manager in planning and overseeing the execution of construction activities for assigned projects.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance against approved targets to ensure alignment with project goals, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Implement departmental policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, delivering high-quality and cost-effective project outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to support seamless project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure effective coordination and relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Operational Requirements:
  • Project Administration: Assist in preparing job start-up and close-out checklists for various construction packages to ensure organized and efficient project execution.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate tracking of project-related documentation, including drawings, contract documents, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and material delivery logs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of monthly project status reports and assist in the development of project cost analyses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
