Key Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 20 hours of mathematics classes per week to students on the undergraduate foundation programme.
  • Create and mark mathematics assessments to students on the foundation programme.
  • Administer duties related to teaching mathematics, including assessment, standardization, moderation, lesson preparation, report writing, and attendance at regular course and general meetings.
  • Be an ambassador for the university locally, regionally, and internationally among academics, parents, students, and prospective sponsors as well as senior members of international affiliate institutions.
  • Liaise effectively with senior management, the director of general foundation programmes, other members of the general foundation programme team, and academic staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Muscat University and be able to demonstrate this through their teaching practice and interactions with students and colleagues.
