We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Legal Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently and have a high impact by providing legal services to new projects and major contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sound, proactive, and quality legal advice and services to our company. They will also be required to liaise with Claims Assessors on contractual claims and disputes, facilitate discussions with Tenderers and Contractors, and research complex legal issues.

• Provide Proactive Legal Services: Provide sound, proactive, and quality legal advice and services to the business, having due regard for its needs.
• Liaise with Claims Assessors: Liaise with Claims Assessors on contractual claims and disputes by providing sound and quality legal analysis and interpretation of facts, contract terms and conditions, and applicable laws.
• Facilitate Discussions: Facilitate discussions with Tenderers and Contractors on legal and contractual matters and settlements and claims in a fair and auditable manner.
• Research Complex Legal Issues: Research and advise on complex legal issues in Upstream Operations and make recommendations to management on appropriate solutions and actions.
• Assist the Head of the Team: Assist the Head of the Team in ensuring timely updates of C&P Terms & Conditions in line with international best practices and Omani law requirements.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance by the company in the conduct of its affairs with the laws of Oman and with generally accepted and applicable rules, regulations, and standards of the oil & gas industry.
