About the Role

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can design, build and integrate complex cloud systems and features that support users of Ubuntu in public clouds. The successful candidate will work closely with our distributed team to automate image delivery, testing and publication pipelines, and collaborate proactively with other engineers to produce high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect new cloud systems and integrations
  • Develop and maintain automated image delivery, testing and publication pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
  • Debug issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Practical experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and Python programming
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
