Salary: This role is a full-time position within the Quality department.

Job Description:

The Site Quality Lead will be responsible for coordinating all QA and QC activities during the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning, and Installation phases of projects.

This includes monitoring and reporting on the working practices of contractors, subcontractors, and project team members as necessary.

The Site Quality Lead will also liaise closely with the Project Quality Manager and Package Managers to ensure that quality standards are met.

In addition, this role requires the ability to report any concerns encountered during the performance of duties to the Project Quality Manager.

A high level of integrity and professionalism is required for this position.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in QA/QC
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A minimum of an HNC level or above qualification in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • A recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management certification
  • Certification as a welding inspector / NDT is desirable but not essential

The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or fabrication yards, with at least 7 years spent covering all aspects of LNG engineering and construction disciplines.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

The Site Quality Lead must have a strong background in QA/QC and excellent communication and organisational skills.

They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a high level of integrity and professionalism.

A minimum of an HNC level or above qualification in an Engineering discipline or equivalent is required, along with a recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management certification.

Certification as a welding inspector / NDT is desirable but not essential.
