Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires strong piping engineering expertise. As a Mechanical Static/Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to piping engineering. Your primary objective will be to generate deliverables on time and to the required quality standard.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Piping Engineering Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) Catalogue for projects.
  • Supervise a team of piping engineers and designers assigned to a project area.
  • Contribute to Basis for Design (BfD) and Project Specifications/Philosophies.
  • Develop Equipment Layout / Plot Plan based on PFS/UFS, Technical safety requirements.
  • Develop Piping Layout based on PEFS / UEFS in 2D / 3D environment.
  • Identify stress critical lines and carry out stress analysis.
  • Select / Develop Piping classes based on MSR.
  • Develop specification for piping materials and specialty items.
  • Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements.
  • Provide input to other discipline deliverables as appropriate.
  • Participate in Assurance reviews viz. Layout Review, Model Review, Design Review, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Piping - Static, especially in the oil & gas field.
  • Good communicator and strong team player.
  • Fluent in English; Written and Spoken.
