Job Summary:

As a Commissioning Engineer for Electric Submersible Pumps, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing downhole ESP equipment to maximize well productivity and ESP run life. This role requires independence and strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor the day-to-day operation of ESP Systems.
  • Commission, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot ESP Systems including input of all well events.
  • Ensure readiness of well location for Surface ESP Equipment installation.
  • Be available to support operations in designated areas unless notified otherwise.

Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, petroleum, or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical Submersible Pump commissioning and troubleshooting is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of downhole Electrical Submersible Pump systems.
  • Experience with ESP downhole installation and pullout, as well as troubleshooting surface equipment.
  • Proficiency with VSD (Variable Speed Drives) and FSD (Fixed Speed Drives) models such as Instruct, GCS, ADV, Vector, Triol Drives.
  • Strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating VSD, FSD, and ESP systems.
  • HSE Leadership skills, H2S safety training, First Aid certification.
  • Permit to Work (PTW) process expertise.
  • Electrical Safety expertise.

Desirable Skills:
  • Analytical skills to resolve ESP problems during troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
  • Car license is an added advantage.
