IT Director

SalamAir is seeking a seasoned technology leader to drive innovation and excellence in our IT operations. As the Head of IT Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance our technological capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align IT priorities with departmental goals, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and security systems.
• Operational Systems Management: Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of operational systems critical to flight operations, engineering, maintenance, and other departments.
• Enterprise Systems and Applications: Direct the deployment and maintenance of enterprise systems, including ERP, HR, finance, and administrative platforms.
• IT Service Delivery and Support: Ensure timely delivery of IT services across all operational and administrative departments, resolving issues efficiently and minimizing disruptions.
• Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Oversee IT security measures to protect company systems, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build and manage a skilled IT team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities to maintain a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a minimum of 8 years as Head of IT in an airline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of computer and/or network security systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
