Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Design Manager to join our Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will lead the design of cloud experiences and software distribution mechanisms, ensuring seamless collaboration between designers, engineers, and stakeholders.

As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for managing expectations, prioritizing tasks, and driving sustainable quality improvements. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, advocate for design excellence, and champion innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and provide feedback on design work to ensure high-quality standards
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to drive consistency and efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate outcomes and implement designs
  • Mentor junior designers to enhance their skills and growth
  • Evaluate operational workflows to identify areas for improvement
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX design expertise and technical savviness
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing design teams and collaborating with technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with quantitative optimization approaches and willingness to experiment with new techniques
