Job Description

We are seeking an Economic and Financial Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing feasibility studies of various water and wastewater projects. The selected candidate will develop and review financial models and conduct thorough financial analysis.

The successful applicant will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between individual projects and organizational objectives, priorities, and strategies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects
  • Developing and reviewing financial models and conducting thorough financial analysis
  • Ensuring integration management and stakeholder engagement
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and uncertainties
  • Facilitating the capture and documentation of lessons learned from projects feasibilities and risk management activities
  • Providing training, coaching, and support on commercial and financial aspects management and risk management best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/economics or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience as an Economic/Financial Expert in feasibility studies and financial analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make data-driven recommendations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
