Vessel Captain

As a key member of the Svitzer Americas team, you will be responsible for overseeing vessel operations to ensure safe and efficient transportation of cargo. Your expertise in maritime operations will enable you to make informed decisions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Leading and managing a diverse team of crew members
• Developing and implementing operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk
• Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• Master's license above 500GT
• Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1)
• Proficiency in Medical Care On Board Ship (STCW Code A-VI/4-2)
• At least 24 months of sea time as a Master
