Civil and Structural Engineering Expert

Job Requirements:
We are looking for a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to manage the workload of the Civil/Pipelines/structural Inspector, review Contractor material and shop drawing submittals, and respond to inspection requests in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the workload of the Civil/Pipelines/structural Inspector.
- Review Contractor material and shop drawing submittals.
- Respond to inspection requests in a timely manner and perform site inspections and witness tests as necessary.
- Conduct inspections to determine if civil, structural, and piping works have been done in accordance with contract specifications.
- Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the construction project.
- Perform complex engineering tasks and engineering work efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, measurements, surveys, and designs.
- Support the Resident Engineer and other members of the construction supervision team in reviewing project schedules and payment applications.
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering, 15 years of experience in increasingly responsible positions, past experience in potable water projects, including successful completion of a large pumping station and/or large diameter water pipeline project in the position of senior engineer, and excellent communication skills.
