Job Title: Network Systems Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the availability, reliability, and integrity of Core, Aggregation, Distribution, and Edge Networks.
  • Provide solution design, implementation, administration expertise, and support for all aspects of the Core, Aggregation, Distribution, and Edge Network/Security products.

The role will ensure the availability and reliability of the supported Network and Security infrastructure by analyzing and resolving problems to ensure non-interruptive services of systems, hardware, applications, and software.

Key Tasks:

  1. Analyze and resolve problems to ensure non-interruptive services of systems, hardware, applications, and software.
  2. Monitor and maintain the overall performance of Network and Security infrastructure and services.
  3. Implement, manage, support, administrate, and monitor network infrastructure consisting of Cisco Nexus & Catalyst based switches and routers in Campus/Branches/ATM/Production Data Center/Disaster Recovery Data Center.
  4. Plan, implement, support, and administrate OSPF, BGP routing protocol and Spanning tree protocols networks for Campus/Branches/ATM/Core/Production Data Center/Disaster Recovery Data Center.

This position is responsible for providing high-performance support to Business Operations and services while complying with audit and security recommendations.

Required Skills:

  • Expert level of experience in design, implementation, and support of LAN, MAN, WLAN, and WAN Networks and SD WAN with Layer 2, Layer 3, and dynamic routing protocols.
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical skills, reporting, planning, designing, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Cisco ISE 802.1x with posture validation for endpoint Network Admission Control.
  • Knowledge of Fortinet Devices including Data Center & Disaster recovery Data Center VPNs.
  • Familiarity with Network and Security Management Systems of Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco DCNM, Forti manager, Forti Analyzer, and SolarWinds NCM.
